IIT-CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP
Pan Oceanic has joined Institute of Insurance Tanzania (IIT) and Officially Granted Corporate Membership Certificate during 6^th Annual Insurance Day at Royal Palm Dar es salaam. The Guest of honor, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation Professor Abbdulkadir Sharrif, presented the certificate.

6^TH ANNUAL INSURANCE DAY
The 6^th annual insurance day was held at Royal Palm Hotel DSM on 3^rd Sept 2002. The occasion was graced by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affair and International Co-operation Prof. A. sharrif. Also in attendance is commissioner of Insurance Mr. I. Kamuzora, Ambassador William Hanna head of EU-Delegation, Ambassador Ali Mchumo Deputy Secretary General of East Africa Community.

Three papers were discussed during the day, i.e. 
¨      The challenges of Regional Integration for East Africa.
¨      Economic implications of regional Integration.
¨      Regional integration with relevance to the Insurance Industry in East Africa.

Their Directors represented Pan Oceanic, namely: -

1.      Mr. S.S. Fareed.
2.      Mr. Bashir G. Mehdi.

APPOINTMENT
Pan oceanic has strengthened its Finance and Marketing Department by appointment of Mr. Amri Mambo as its Head.

Mr. Amri is a graduated from University of Dar es Salaam and holder of BA (Economics). Also he is Diploma Holder in Material Management. Currently he is taking Professional Level Examination with NBAA. Mr. Amri is married and has one kid.
